MEGAFEN injection is a Florfenicol 30% antibiotics that has no problem of Chloramphenicol preparations such as aplastic anemia and bacterial resistance even though it belongs to Chloramphenicol series. It shows stronger antibacterial activity and higher safty than Chloramphenicol, 48 hours' durable potency with only one injection, and good efficacy against swine pleuropneumonia, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, bovine respiratory disease(BRD), etc.

Indications |

|
For treatment of bacterial disease susceptible to Florfenicol Cattle : Pasteurella pneumonia, Haemophilus pneumonia, Foot rot caused by Pasteurella haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Bacteroides melanogenicus
Swine : Pleuropneumonia, Pasteurella pneumonia, Haemophilus pneumonia, Mycoplasma pneumonia caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus parasuis, Salmonella spp., Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Mycoplasma hyorhins

Dosage and Use |

Inject intramuscularly in neck region once a day as follows and additionally treat with same dosage at 48 hour interval. Cattle : 0.67mL per 10kg of body weight Swine : 0.5mL per 10kg of body weight (However, do not inject over 3mL in a part)

Precaution(s) and others |
|
|
|
1.Withdrawal period : Cattle - 44 days, Swine - 12 days. 2.Do not use for lactating cow. 3.Treat it in accordance with the direction of your veterinarian.
